本案中，花園圍墻以恰到好處的高度圍合出室內外空間，區(qū)分了生活的喧囂與靜謐空間。原本并不起眼的采光井因為樓梯的設置，成了垂直交通的一部分，結合四季光影變化，使別墅內部有了縱向的時空感。

The wall against the garden separates theinterior space from outside with a modest height, isolating the hustle andbustle of life to the tranquil space. Owing to the design of the (spiral)stair, the originally unappealing light well becomes one part of the verticalpassage. The interior space of villa is endowed with sense of time and spacedue to the seasonally lighting.

家庭成員在樓梯平臺相遇，構成了每一個日常的“偶然”。每個私密空間的開口方式取決于居住者向外窺視的角度。家的生命力，在于空間對人自然而溫柔的包覆。Encounting with other family members on thestaircase landing constitutes the daily “accidental”. The pass to outside ofeach private domain depends on the angle from which the resident looks outward.The vitality of home lies in the natural and gentle containment of space.

業(yè)主是做藝術品拍賣的，對于東方文化尤其是禪文化有一定的追求和理解。

The owner, engaged in artwork auction, are inpursuit of oriental culture especially of the Zen culture to some degree.

根據(jù)業(yè)主的要求，設計師對整個空間的動線與格局進行了重新設計和調整，希望可以給他們一個休閑和放松的空間，使他們在這一空間中遠離都市的喧囂。

Responding to the owners’ requirements, thedesigner reset the generatrix and make adjustment to the（indoor） pattern, on the chance of creating aleisure and relax environment which enables the owner to get away from thehustle and bustle of urban life.
